A couple of years ago my father was having a clean out and offered me his old Pentax ME-Super. I thought it would make a good hardcore street photography tool (in the absence of a viewfinder camera). I went out and bought a roll of 35mm Ilford HP5 400ASA film. Here is what I took.
Experimentally shooting from hip level. Everything has to be preset - including focus. Also remember to wind on (remember that expression?) I got lucky as you can see.
Not so much about the photo, but I remember trying to be surreptitious so as not to be seen to be obviously taking photos. In retrospect, unnecessary when taking a performance.
Oops! She looks a little surprised...
.. and she was completely oblivious.
This was where I climbed up on a bollard behind the official photographers. I think I was the one who got the groom's engagement!
All's fair in love and street photography.
